ARMA MD makes the Elite 50
ARMA Insurance Managing Director Amanda Morris has been named in Insurance Business Australia’s Elite 50 women in Insurance for 2022. The list is national and features the 50 women every year deemed by the industry to be the most inspiring female insurance professionals in the country.
The list is significant in that it is compiled via nominations sought from the insurance industry nationally. Once nominated, each candidate is screened and the final list of the Elite 50 Women in Insurance is announced.
The criteria used for judging nominees for the best and most inspiring female insurance professionals in Australia includes some recognised heavy hitters of the industry such as Jane Martin – authorised representative director and state managing director (Victoria), Oracle Group (Australia) and Natasha Gale – chief executive officer, ARAG Services Australia.
Nominees had to be “working in a role that related to, interacted with, or in some way impacted the general insurance industry”. They should also have demonstrated a clear passion for insurance.
The IB team asked the nominators to describe their nominee’s outstanding professional achievements over the past 12 months, their contributions to diversity and inclusion in the industry, and how they have given back through volunteer roles and charity work. The team also considered recommendations from managers and senior industry professionals.
Amanda Morris founder ARMA insurance almost 15 years ago and has built the business from scratch – amassing an amazing and loyal team along the way. She now also heads an operation that coaches other brokers to build their businesses with quality habits and clients.
